ChessBase native engines (freeware)

Post by Norbert Raimund Leisner »

Hello,

on the German ChessBase website the following download links disappeared:

Anaconda (formerly: Gromitchess)
Bambam
Comet
Crafty (SMP)
EXchess
Faile
Inmichess
List
Pharaon UCI
Shannon
Sjeng UCI
Tao UCI
Turing

As far I know, only Crafty and EXchess are under active development by their authors - but obviously no interest by ChessBase to create own native engines.

Best wishes,
Norbert

Don't forget the König Schwarz engine as a Chessbase native engine. :)

The engine download link on the page worked when tested. A German language web page.

An explanation of the engine in English. Scroll down on the page to where it reads:
"NEW "FREEBIE" ENGINE FROM CHESSBASE".
