Thanks Roberto for your efforts. I tested the new version released by you, my personal judgment is more than positive.

Hi to all.

This version is NOT an upgrade from previous versions. I decided to (re)start over with a fork to one of the older versions of Ivanhoe, the 999963.
This old version has a lot of potential, but also a lot of mistakes, some known, others to find. So these first releases will not have a great playing strength.
I hope to be able to improve the engine during the next few releases. The problems are many and work too! :)

As for me, yes. Perhaps other members of the team will continue this project, but for me it is finished.

Version 4.1.0 is now ready...

- fixed a stupid error in the 32-bit versions;
- correction of some minor bugs (increased playing strength?);
- changed the Time Manager (though, I'm still not satisfied);
- some changes in the evaluation functions (increased playing strength?);

Hi Roberto,

how frequent are your releases likely to be at this stage?
Just wondering whether or not it's worth starting a gauntlet at some stage soon.

Cheers,
Graham.

I see at http://deep-saros.blogspot.it/ that a new DeepSaros (413a) is out, which I applaud, especially as it has a 64-bit non-popcnt Linux version (which was sadly missing from the previous version).
