Jabba chess

Post by JuLieN » Tue Mar 06, 2012 1:46 pm

Hello Richard,

Jabba can't be downloaded anymore:

http://jabbachess.fileave.com/Jabba11Mac.zip

The blog is working but not the fileave repository...

Will we get a chance to download it again? :)

Hi Julien,

The old links are dead, and I can't even remmeber my blog login!
Leo from WBEC kindly offered this week to host future versions for me, which seems like a good idea.

So in about two weeks when the C# version will be released, with source of course :). It playewd in the CCT event, and I've had it running on FICS for a few thousand games, and all seems stable, it broke 2200 blitz today.

I just have a couple of tests to finish first, and then it should be ready.

It won't worry Houdini though ;)

Thanks for the interest

Richard

Aaah, good news! :D

Although meanwhile someone who had saved all the versions of Jabba sent me an archive with them, including the Mac one. Is it ok if I host them on my website with the other Mac compiles?

Thanks :)

Then here's Jabba for everyone (Windows, Linux, OSX) :

Please note: I didn't compile them, I just host the archive.

EDIT: Renamed the archive, as Talkchess won't take the parenthesis in the URL.
