RedQueen 0.6 won a small match here against FireFly 2.5.6 by 6.0-4.0.
I realise that such a small number of games is random noise, but from watching some of the games. it seemed to be that RedQueen was the stronger of the two engines.

I'll put RedQueen 0.6 up a division in my amateur series and see how she does against the following field:

Feuerstein 0.4.6.1
Gibbon 2.52a
Atak 6.7
BlackBishop 1.0
Mediocre 0.34
Alex 2.07a
Knockout 0.7.1
KMTchess 1.2.1
Bearded 06_29_02
Adam 3.2
Simplex 0.9.3

Cheers,
Graham.

Hi Graham,
i have only tested version 0.6 against old versions of Redqueen. After 2400 games using gaviota-starters Redqueen 0.6 is about 150 Elo stronger than 0.5. But I don't know if it will hold this Elo gain against different opponents.

BTW, thanks for testing Redqueen. It is nice to know that not everyone is only interested in top engines. :)

Yeah - it's funny how the clone lovers like to call me a Rybka fanboy just because I'm not interested in wasting my time testing their "engines".!

Thanks for your efforts.

Cheers,
Graham.

Regards,
Can we look forward for a 64bit compile?
...perhaps from Jim?

Hi Werner,

Yes, As soon as I get installed windows 7 in one of my computers. :) I think it is possible to create cross-platform builds from a specific environment, but I am too lazy to learn how to do that with GCC...
Lets wait for Jim's compiles. :)

Yeah :)

Well if they are happy testing "new" versions with only few parameters changes... Good for them! :)
