I purchased Onno a few days after is was released. Now many, many, months later the MP version is released and when I try to obtain it, it requires a username and password. My issue with this is that I cannot recall being provided this information. Perhaps, I am just accustomed to the far better service or Lokasoft, Hiarcs, Shredder Chess, or even Chessbase. I'll know better next time, once bitten, twice shy!

You should read a bit on the homepage before you say such things.
The download requires authentification.
User: The complete email address you used at the purchase, e.g. thatsme@internet.com. If you changed your email address later (e.g. for the newsletter) your user name is still the old address.

Password: If you bought Onno at share-it, your password is your share-it order number. That number consists of 9 digits. People who did not buy at share-it get their password by mail.
I checked my inbox and obtained my order number, and logged
in with my email adress and voila, no problems downloading.

Thank you for the info, Martin. Without it I would not have known there was an update; perhaps the author intends on sending notification to the email addresses of the purchasers that an update is available. (Sigh) No rest for the weary; have to place the update on the disc :) and start it playing.

I think you missed my point, but I understand what you are trying say.
