I don't know why I called it Anatoli, really. But I have always admired Karpov's subtle style and when I was looking for a name and 'Anatoli' popped into my mind it felt good.
I hope I can eventually teach Anatoli to play a bit like Karpov, though. :)

Yes, his style is subtle and perhaps too esoteric for many people to understand or appreciate. Kasparov actually became a much better player after studying his games.

But to play like Karpov, your engine would have to develop into a sublime endgame technician. Not an easy task. :)
