Best,

I've put the 32-bit download here for now until Oliver replies. Hope you're okay with that Oliver.

Nowadays, this type of connection problems is on the rise for me.
Strange enough. This applies for both local and international links.
Where are the good old days of internet freedom?

It's just a temporily problem with the provider. But I will submit olithink soon to softpedia, so there will be a second source.

Re: OliThink 5.1.2 released - Blitz 1' 1'' tourney to test

Post by OliverBr » Fri Apr 04, 2008 9:24 am

5.1.2 is apparently much stronger than 5.1.1, but 5.1.1 is much more successfull against Glaurung.
Could be an explanation that 5.1.2 has pv-search (like Glaurung) and 5.1.1 has not (like Crafty)?

Here the table:

Code: Select all

   Engine Score Gl Cr Ol Ol S-B
1: Glaurung    42.0/60 ···················· 01110=0==0=0111=110= 1111110111=111111=== 11011=11011=10110110  1041.0
2: Crafty      40.0/60 10001=1==1=1000=001= ···················· =11==0=0=1111110=101 11=111=1111111110111  947.00
3: OliThink512 23.0/60 0000001000=000000=== =00==1=1=0000001=010 ···················· 11=11100===11101==10  601.00
4: OliThink511 15.0/60 00100=00100=01001001 00=000=0000000001000 00=00011===00010==01 ····················  493.00

I'll start testing with 5.1.2 tonight, as soon as
my scheduled tests are complete.

Your tests show a ratings increase around
50-70 points.

Best,
hi, merhaba, hallo HT
