Re: YChess 1.0 = a superb engine & GUI

Post by Sylwy »

Hi all !

A superb engine and GUI coming from Austria: YChess 1.0 !
This old chess application must be saved for eternity.
Of course, by the true chess lovers !
Below are two captures from its first game - on this evening - versus Lime 66 off Herr Richard Albert ! An easy and spectacular victory !

Must be saved, but how, if it was discontinued? :)

Hello Carl !

The life of Tutankhamon was discontinued many years ago ( ). But near everybody knows about. A chess application life has a lot of more possibilities. Even the old Ruxy has near the full history of computer chess. FULLY FUNCTIONAL !

Discontinued ? It's this a problem for the human kind ?

Fully functional regards,
SilvianR

Re: Ychess versus AICE 0.99.2 ! Why, CCRL & CEGT ???

Post by Sylwy »

Hello CC aficionados !

Mr.Ruxy the Elder just did the second short test (the first was yesterday - versus Lime 66/2148 ELO CCRL 4/40 - badly crushed by YChess) versus a better engine :AICE 0.99.2 - 2309 ELO CCRL/4/40. Crushed again !
YChess 1.0 for Windows has a very nice and active play ! Why this engine ( of Mr.Roman Antonczik/Austria) was never tested in CCRL and CEGT (well, IPON is busy with the derivatives.......) ?????
Below are two captures and the .pgns of two superb games versus AICE 0.99.2. To be continued !

Regards,
SilvianR

Hello Silvian :D

Can it be used outside it's own GUI as a UCI engine :!: :?:
Cheers,

Hello Doc !

YChess 1.0 is a native engine, but on its GUI every UCI and WB chess engine works without any problem !

Best to you !

Why? The colors are perfect. You can also use these colors to test your headaches.
