Regarding the title of the thread: computer chess death by draw is coming...

ClassicAra is a GPU engine, so it only needs a lot amount of CPU cores to run its search.

ClaccisAra broke the series of draws, with a Knight versus Bishop battle in the middle of the board, with an interesting ending Queen Sacrifice to enter the 6 men piece Endgame ==>

I am working since years to prevent the computerchess from draw-death:
https://www.sp-cc.de/anti-draw-openings.htm

If TCEC dont use this opportunity, it is their fault.

Congrats for your work, I LOVE Drawkiller! I hate to see the same game structures over and over and over again. I hate to see draws. So, I use Drawkiller for years. It's really nice to see some new actions in the game. Thanks a lot.
For the testers, here is some information of Drawkillers. The main idea behind Drawkiller is opposite cornered kings and opposite centered queens. Both sides has the opportunity to attack kings and this situation leads to more tactical games. Because of that, A/B engines have an advantage against MCTS engines. Ratings are different than normal chess, cause search effects more than normal chess in Drawkiller.
So that's all, have fun!

If I was playing this position I would have played queen to 64. Qc7+ and then take the bishop, it is a more intimidating WIN specially against another human

Then, you will be very pleased to hear, that a new generation of Drawkiller openings is in the making...I am working on additionally Drawkiller openings, were not only pawn-moves are played out of a Drawkiller starting position: I added human opening moves out of the Megabase 2021 after the Drawkiller starting positions. Of course this leads to a lot of illegal move sequences (because the human openings are starting from the normal chess starting position) and to some very bad lines. So, it is a high effort, to filter all bad lines out of this huge data-pool. So, this work will take some time. If all works as expected, the release will be in this summer.

Stay tuned!
