And that is a huge advantage compared to any chess-variant, like Chess960 etc., which are having differences in rules or starting positions (compared to classical chess).

But Drawkiller was not made for humans, but for engines.

Drawkiller was used on chess.com's ccc (computer-chess-championship) as a bonus event. I suppose it can be used in tcec as a fun bonus event as well, as long as the concept is understood.

I'm comparing Drawkiller to a similar suite (that doesn't exist) that uses FENs as starting positions, regardless of if those positions can be reached from the opening position. Are there GUIs or engines that are known for not accepting FENs as starting positions? Otherwise, it'd be an improvement.

That is, the primary goal of Drawkiller could be achieved faster if the FENs I'm talking about (coming from, say, asymmetrical shuffle chess?) were researched, optimizing them for being the "least likely to draw".

Here's some likely suspects:

[d]brnqknrb/pppppppp/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/RKBNQBNR w - - 0 1
[d]bnrkqrnb/pppppppp/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/RKBNNBQR w - - 0 1
[d]bnrkqrnb/pppppppp/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/RKNBBNQR w - - 0 1
[d]bnrqkrnb/pppppppp/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/RKBNNBQR w - - 0 1
[d]bnrqkrnb/pppppppp/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/RKNBBNQR w - - 0 1

(0% draw rate in corr chess several years ago, but with white and black winning similar amount of games)
Your beliefs create your reality, so be careful what you wish for.

Hi!
is there a link to download your latest draw-killer opening libraries in .abk and .bin format, before the restore of your page? I'm having too many draws with all the Stockfish derivates in 2021 in my blitz tournament between engines, so I think to even remove all opening books. Maybe a radical solution could be to add style configuratIon in UCI engines parameters...

Please wait for some days... The remastering of my openings (including Drawkiller!) is nearly completed and will be released very soon. And the remastered openings-sets are definitly better.
I hope, that my website will go online until the end of March, then the download of the new remastered openings will be included. Otherwise I will provide a download-link from my Google-Drive here at the beginning of April.
