I have the same problem. Not as critical as 4 of 5, but it loses on time a lot, yes.

This version has an extra test in the time manager
and a new option 'MoveOverhead'

It should be more robust at short time controls.

That is the same TC I use and the previous version lost on time frequently. Maybe it is designed to play standard TC like 40/5 repeating.

It's possible. I will try by a longer TC, eg. 3 '+ 2 "

I've aborted my FRC tests. After 400 games it is showing -45 Elo. I understand from our standard chess testers that the position there is similar.

Thanks for the feedback. I usually test at shorter time controls than CCRL. I see now that Galjoen becomes weaker at longer time controls, indeed.

- The problem with time forfeits should be solved now.
- IID is back in.
- Galjoen doesn't use polling anymore. When it's not its turn, Galjoen should use zero CPU time.
- This should be the strongest version. At least in self play it is, although by a small margin.
