Of course it isn't e8g8 but g8e8. Yes, I would say it is valid. For perft 1, Alouette says 38 but maybe it is wrong.

For me I cannot test: I am on Linux. Could you make the source available, or a Linux compilation?

Hi all, I did a lot of tests and the engine now is stable. The version is 2.3.1
