A question chess960:
position fen 2nnrbkr/p1qppppp/8/1ppb4/6PP/3PP3/PPP2P2/BQNNRBKR w HEhe - 0 1 moves f1g2 d5e6 g4g5 d8c6 c1e2 c8b6 b2b3 a7a6 e3e4 d7d5 e4d5 e6d5 d1e3 d5g2 g1g2 e7e6 a1b2 f8d6 b1a1 d6e5 b2e5 c6e5 f2f3
goes in 4r1kr/2q2ppp/pn2p3/1pp1n1P1/7P/1P1PNP2/P1P1N1K1/Q3R2R b he - 0 24
now can I do e8g8? is it a valid castle?
the perft(1) is 39
Cinnamon 2.3

Re: Cinnamon 2.3
Of course it isn't e8g8 but g8e8. Yes, I would say it is valid. For perft 1, Alouette says 38 but maybe it is wrong.

For me I cannot test: I am on Linux. Could you make the source available, or a Linux compilation?geko wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 10:11 pm here a new version with bug fixed (I hope)

About castling rules in FRC, there is a useful message here: http://www.open-aurec.com/wbforum/viewt ... 191#p10191
I have just fixed the bug in my own engine (it was also relative to castling).

Re: Cinnamon 2.3
Hi all, I did a lot of tests and the engine now is stable. The version is 2.3.1
the site page is here http://cinnamonchess.altervista.org
Is it possible replace 2.3 with 2.3.1 here? http://ccrl.chessdom.com/ccrl/404/index.html
thanks
Giuseppe
