I should have read more closely - CrazyAra, as indicated by the name, plays Crazyhouse. I don't see anything for orthodox chess. Sorry if I wasted anyone's time by not mentioning this. Still, it does look like an interesting project.

I was testing out Jacksprat against AdaChess 3.6 and Tony's Chess 0.03, and it is around the same level of those engines.

Jacksprat calls itself Small Chess.

Hmm, yes, some of the piece square tables are the same, as well as some similarity in I/O handling.

Axolotl is a java engine. The jar file is included in the package.
