Hi,
The current linux version is running in CCC 8 and it's also working on my machine (Ubuntu on Windows 10). Under which configuration are you running, did you use the correct version (regular, bmi2 or nopopcnt) and did you try to run it in the commandline ?
Hi Mr Ronald.
First answer:I add it with no error, but the engine is not in the list of added engines.so i can not use it at all.
I runned it in terminal and it runs ok.
look...

rofChade seems to be running fine on your machine, so the problem seems to be in the configuration in Pychess. I know nothing of Pychess but found some info about it on the web. It seems that Pychess has an internal list of engines defined, but I don't know what happens if the engine is not found in the list. The only thing "special" might be that rofChade is spelled with a capital "C" and that it's not found in the internal list You could try to change the name of "rofChade" into "rofchade". Maybe another Talkchesser with Pychess experience on linux has a suggestion?

Hi im getting ucrtbase.dll error and engine crash on startup in Arena - windowws 7
Anyone else getting that??
Hi,
The windows version is build in Visual Studio 2017. It runs fine in Arena, but with Windows 10. Maybe you have an older version of the universal C Runtime on your system, but then you probably would have had the same problem with other engines (build in msvc).

It runs fine under CC on this Win 7 box. The ucrtbase.dll it accesses appears to be from the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable, which is a small free download. Your problem should take minutes to fix.

Hi - just tested it in cute chess in runs fine, problem seems to be in just in Arena 3.5.1.
all my Microsoft Visual Redistributables are present and correct, all my other engines run fine including rofchade 2.0
Can anyone please test it in arena and see if you get the same error???
