It sounds interesting. Good thinking. Let lczero run day and night calculating a book for SF.

Re: Leela-Cerebellum available
Thanks for the new Leela-Cerebellum.
I have tested the 2019 version of Cerebellum against Lc0 41765 on RTX2070 against BrainFish 2019 on i7 4790S 8 cores at 15 minutes plus 3 seconds ponder off, using the Silver Test positions.

1 Lc0_v0.21.1_41765 +20 +16/=74/-10 53.00% 53.0/100
2 BrainFish_190325_x64_bmi2 -20 +10/=74/-16 47.00% 47.0/100
Some examples where the book didn't help

Regardless, even the Cerebellum Light book is a very generous contribution to computer chess. Appreciate your work.Thomas Zipproth wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2019 10:50 pmI'm sorry to say that the status of the Sirius GUI has not changed, in the last two years neither I or my brother had enough time to finish this project, because it takes an enormous amount of time to test everything, fix all bugs and make it user friendly. I had the time to make the Leela book, for which I needed about 4 days additional development time, but the Sirius GUI would need about two month, which is too much in the moment. I hope we will somehow manage to release the Siruis GUI (which also means Cerebellum full) before Chess is finally solvedOzymandias wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2019 9:42 pmLong time no see, I'll take the opportunity to ask about the Sirius GUI.![]()

...and some examples where the Cerebellum book worked very well
Lc0 started thinking at move 10 and BrainFish at move 26! with winning evaluation 26. Rhxh5 {2.15/33 28}
Lc0 started thinking at move 12 and BrainFish at move 37. Ke3 {1.26/34 27}
Lc0 started thinking at move 9 and BrainFish at move 16. Rb1 {1.22/27 8}

Thank you for the examples which will contribute to the improvement of the book, I will check them and add the calculated games to Cerebellum.Javier Ros wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 9:51 pmSome examples where the book didn't help

Re: Leela-Cerebellum available
In the two following examples, the Cerebellum book played a move evaluated as !? by Hiarcs14z book, winning in the first case and losing in the second.
Here 11.Be3!? seems to work well.
This time 12...Nc4!? is really dubious, while 12...Re8 and 12...a6 are better
