Haven't used Dreamer before. Any idea of its strength?

The new version is stronger than the version CCRL tested. I have only tried 15 or so games, against engines ranging from 1550-1750, and it held its own.

Acording to GURL3 it is around 1600. To my surprise Dreamer 0.30 was already tested, while being private it seems.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... =907876490

Code: Select all

PLAYER VERSION BITS CORES RATING ERROR POINTS PLAYED (%)
"Dreamer" "030" 1647,2 79,6 27,0 51 52,94
"Dreamer" "020" 1265,4 74,6 65,0 346 18,79
"Dreamer" "010" 961,3 23,0 306,5 583 52,57
Forum search revealed I already asked for it during the process of resurrecting the XB/UCI chronology in 2016.
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=60492&p=675540&hili ... er#p675540

A check of the source code says last real change of Dreamer code (unlike the DreamChess GUI!) was in 2017-08,
except a lot of text formatting a few weeks ago and before in 2015.
This explains why results of an (earlier) 0.30 version already exist. No idea though, who tested the small sample.
I have only saved the ordo prepared pgn for GURL3, which just contains names and results to save space and memory.
