Re: Stockfish TCEC 14 Champion
Surprisingly even match. I remember Kai's test, that Lc0 scales badly. Not true? BTW with old adjucation rule +-6,50 is win it has been 50 - 50 end result! Was it changed to +-10 just because of Lc0?

You can't ignore the fact that Lc0 beat SF +16=80-4 in the rapid bonus match. All they did was change the time control from 7200+15 to 720+3 and remove the opening book. The hardware and software involved stayed exactly the same as it was in the superfinal.

For some reason I do not see the pgn in a way that it is possible for programs to understandGary Internet wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2019 8:07 am You can't ignore the fact that Lc0 beat SF +16=80-4 in the rapid bonus match. I found it in the following site and it is written in a way that even after copy and paste my programs could not understand it.

What does "remove the opening book" mean? 100 games from the initial start position with no book for SF?Gary Internet wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2019 8:07 am All they did was change the time control from 7200+15 to 720+3 and remove the opening book.
There are huge problems with doing that.

I have a script, which creates nice column style traditional pgn output from the TCEC format.Uri Blass wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2019 11:48 amFor some reason I do not see the pgn in a way that it is possible for programs to understandGary Internet wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2019 8:07 am You can't ignore the fact that Lc0 beat SF +16=80-4 in the rapid bonus match. The file is attached. Note that I was too lazy to work around the unusual 'timeleft', thus only score/depth is included.
