They switched from GF to TSMC because of it,
Nvidia uses TSMC ydb.

With short time controls RAM is less crucial.

If you mainly want to run engine tests and your primary interest is relative rankings then it is also less crucial to have the fastest possible processor.

Personally I have hyperthreading disabled on most of my machines.

You will have significant heat and reliability problems buying those chips in a laptop. I own two desktop replacement laptops and I would not recommend them for apps like chess that can spin the cpu to max for hours.

Either buy a desktop and a tablet to access it on the road, or stick to mobile cpus.

Who was talking about Nvidia? Don't you even have the basic comprehension skills? The whole thread after OP was about Intel vs AMD. AMD is the one who switched from GF to TSMC, but ofc a db such as yourself wouldn't know that.
Btw. where are those NVIDIA 7nm cards? When are they coming? :lol: :lol: :lol:
