9.64 TB, 1656 files, is the total size more predictable. Will it cross 20TB

I assume D:\syzygy is a HDD right?

What kind of speed do you get if you probe them during analysis?

Congrats for finishing all tables with <= 1 pawns! Getting close to completion now.

Based on the tablebase.lichess.ovh mirror:

Code: Select all

pawns generated/total
- 396/396
P 330/330
PP 166/180
PPP 55/72
PPPP 14/20
PPPPP 2/3

eg generated/total
6v1 126/126
5v2 350/350
4v3 487/525
Small plug: I've been updating syzygy-tables.info with a list of all endgames and also let it render the stat files now (histogram of DTZ values, links to max-DTZ positions, number of (cursed) winning/losing/drawn unique positions per endgame).

Any plausible estimation when that set is to be generated?

He said is it very late in the schedule and here we are.
