Re: Python Chess Library for Windows?
It's not a chess engine
python-chess is a pure Python chess library with move generation, move validation and support for common formats

Do Python programs have executables? I thought Python was an interpreted language.

Re: Python Chess Library for Windows?
Then what you need is download the library, not compile it, you already have python installed (https://www.python.org/downloads/windows/) so just run this command to install the libraryNorbert Raimund Leisner wrote:yes, but it is required for some engines written in Python
Code: Select all
pip install python-chess[engine,gaviota]
Yes, https://askubuntu.com/questions/324871/ ... ython-file, I think LucasChess it's compiled like thathgm wrote:Do Python programs have executables? I thought Python was an interpreted language.
