Freccia 0.0.2.5 released

Post by stegemma »

Just for completness, I've released my old chess engine "Freccia" (it means "arrow", in english):

http://www.linformatica.com/index-scacchi.php#downloads

This software has a console interface only and were a complete rewrite of Raffaela, all in assembly. It uses some 64 bit feature but it is a 32 bit program.

As said, it is just for completeness, it is not a very interesting engine and I remember that there were various bug in the search.

Run it and just type ? and enter, for Help.

Just for clarification, does this mean it does not know the 'xboard' protocol unlike the old Raffaela and therefor cannot be used under xboard capable UIs?

Yes, it doesn't understand any protocol at all.
