That is very sad news. Mark Dvoretsky has played a few games for my chess club and I had the great pleasure to follow one of his training sessions.

In the year he played for my club, there was a very famous encounter: Korchnoi vs Dvoretsky. Korchnoi played for Rotterdam.

Very sad news indeed. I had the pleasure of attending two of his group training seminars. He was a brilliant trainer and analyst. His books are classics.
