5930 K has only 6 Cores, not 8 like the 5960 X
If you're going to spend so much on a new Rig, it makes sense just to spend just a little more and go with the 8-Core 5960 X which belongs to the same family of Processors.
It's almost $500 more. Maybe next year or so with a processor having more than 8 cores, as I already busted my budget for this year.
Here's hoping the silicon gods give me a good overclocker....
Edit: I didn't mean to hijack the thread, just looking forward to Komodo 9 on some decent hardware (for me!)

You could always upgrade the Processor later when you have more funds.
After all, the Motherboard will remain the same.

Mark, I keep trying to buy Komodo 9 but it keeps telling me that my order amount is 0 (tells me my cart has K9 but nothing actually there). When I had first applied the Komodo 8 discount, PayPal showed the order amount as 0. Anyways, my email is drummerboy20@live.ca. there is some sort of glitch here...
