Re: New JAVA Test 2015

Well, we have two new version releases written in Java: Carballo 0.9 and Fischerle 0.9.61. Both were well enhanced.
Here is my (comparative) test:

Below is my JAVA GRAND FINAL 2014 tournament. Just for comparison.

Hi Ruxy,

could you post the complete cross-table? I'd like to see how Fischerle 0.9.61 fared individually against each particular opponent.

NB: Strictly speaking, Fischerle 0.9.61 is a minor version, featuring only small changes compared to the major release Fischerle 0.9.60. While performing smaller testings on Fischerle 0.9.61 is fine, larger scale evaluations should be confined to the major Fischerle releases.

Are you intending to repeat your "Java Grand Final"?

Thanks!

Re: NEURAL NETWORK Tournament (after 72 games) !

Mr.Ruxy's new idea: NEURAL NETWORK Tournament !

Eight chess engines having advanced machine learning capabilities. Some great engines: a private one The Baron 3.33 of Mr.Richard Pijl, free stars like: Rhetoric 1.4.1, RomiChess P3L; KnightCap 3.7e..........

All learning capabilities are enabled for this tournament ! My intention is to extend this fight until 30.000 games !

Already some great chess masterpieces !

I for one am looking forward with excitement to see how these engines change their positions over the course of 30 thousand games. Thanks for this tournament! It is long over due as interest needs to be generated for engines that learn.

Just some information:
Back when RomiChess first got the ability to learn I had some conversations with Richard the author of The Baron. He wanted to include part of Romi's learning in The Baron. He did so with my blessing. I think he only added the 'reward/punishment' part of Romi's learning algorithm and not the 'monkey see monkey do' part. Although I am not sure. His implementation was a bit more refined than mine and it will be interesting to see how they progress compared to each other.

3.-Hermann 2.8..............[69,00%]
4.-BBChess 1.3b.............[60,50%]
5.-RomiChess P3L............[53,25%]
