Thorgal is a humanoïd engine based on Fruit and Toga.
With this version I changed a lot the playing style, so I think it's more like a human style.
But as for the humans, this engine produces some unstable results.
The global playing level seems interesting and stronger than Toga Returns 1.1, Toga II 3.0 and Toga II 280513. But not necessary in head to head matches. And I think the results will be better with time control longer than ultrafast games (above depth 18).

Due to a hidden bug (I don't yet find the solution), it's impossible to use more than 256 MB Hash in Fritz GUI. Maybe with others GUIs but I don't test these.

The eval function is now really different compared with other Fruit and Toga engines.

I test it a lot and I'm not again completely happy with this version. So I continue to test it and it's again a beta version.

I don't distribute it today because I need again to correct some bugs except for private testing.
If someone wants to test it, it's possible but I ask to don't distribute it to others. I prefer to only make a public version when I'm more sure about the playing level.

I like how Thorgal wins the game against Naum 4.2 in round 4.
Naum 4.2 shows a really big advantage and suddenly (move 47) the eval is completely opposite (nearly +2 for Naum and -1.7 for Thorgal). It seems so human to me ... ;-)
Maybe I'm wrong ... but I like games like this.
