Post by Mdannib »

Finaly our first SMP version of BlackMamba is ready and can be found here.

The main features are :
- support for UCI protocol
- MultiPV for game analysis
- support for polyglot opening books
- smart detection of pawn blockages (UCI option)
- runtime detection for SSE42 support
- Automatic detection for Large Pages Support
- Unlimited hash size

There is only the Windows version; we are still working on OSX.

Fantastic news Matteo :D

Any estimation of the elo jump in this version related to the previous one :!: :?:

In my private rating list I have BlackMamba 1.4 x64 MP rated 2972 Elo after playing 4000 games at relatively long time controls....

My reference chess engine is Deep Fritz 13.0.0.0 rated 3068 Elo....

I do hope this new version will break the 3000 Elo barrier in my rating list :D

Dr.Wael Deeb....i honestly do not know
BlackMamba should be close to Rybka, very close...we focused a lot on the smp version and less on the evaluation function but this is the first version 8-)
