Great news, but a few questions:

Will updating cause any of my Arena 3.0 settings to be lost or change? I assume one possibility is that I can copy my config files, but hope that any new possible parameters don't wipe out old settings. I'm in the middle of a long tournament now, and don't want to upset things.

If upgrading from 3.0, what's the best way to do this, just copy the EXE over top, or must I run the installer?

Also, I did not see in the release notes if Castling in FRC (Chess960) has been changed for UCI engines, or if the global hash size function now works reliably?

I just backed up, and ran the installer. So far, old settings seemed to be retained, except one important one:

There is now a common max CPU cores setting, which is at default of 1. Make sure you change it if needed, unless you want 1 thread. Also, if you turn the setting off while at 1, any engines that were started while it was at 1 will now be permanently set to 1 core in the ArenaENG.cfg file.

In analysis mode Arena waits always 2s after a move before starting the calculation. This is very annoying especially during interactive analysis with fast moving forward and backward. This bug is also in version 3.

I use Arena for many years. For me is the best GUI specialy for engine tournaments...
The only thing i miss in the new version, is that in tournament mode does not support (yet) official FIDE timing (90m/40moves + 30 mins rest game+30secs from move 1)
