SzG wrote:(1) How can it be that I could talk on channel 64. I thought it was open only for participants.
Channel 64 was an open channel, it was just a common channel chosen by Peter for all of us to chat (arbitrary choice), which had something to do with historic CCT events, anyone, even guests could join that channel if I am not wrong.
SzG wrote:(2) There was no talk at all on channel 49. Is that channel not intended for spectators?
Channel 49 is the Mamer channel, where the tournament bot sends all his msgs, unfortunately we had to play the tournament without this bot, as it would not allow late joins, and hence channel 49 was quiet during the main CCT, although in CCT Blitz the bot spat out games, pairings and results in that channel.

I hope I explained it correctly, if I am wrong, my apologies and feel free to correct me.

Apart from that CCT, being the first event for me and Raptor, was indeed a lot of fun, and a memorable experience, at least for me.

Congrats to Komodo for winning the event, Also congrats to Hannibal, Sjeng and everyone who participated and made it a fun event.

Special shoutout to GPC, Suj, Erdo and Thomas Likens who I had the pleasure of chatting with throughout the tournament.

Also thanks to Peter and HGM for hosting CCT and being an unbiased and reliable hosting combo!

Yes, it was a very nicely run tournament by Peter. Thanks Peter!

Yes, I enjoyed it tremendously. Peter did a great job, (although I'm still waiting for
my "Best Kibitzer" trophy!)
