When you say this forum are you referring to Talkchess?

I believe he is referring to the Rybka forum but he missed a comma in connecting the two sentences.

There are lots of unconnected things in here. Mostly to do with the words "chess" and "forum".

We can but hope...... (or kill them all by superior thought)

Christopher,

for much years, in the first beginning I am reading that programmers are bad chess players.

Today I know why!
Speaking from programmer groups, like such groups of programmers which wrote open letters.

Hello ....
THAT IS A CLEARLY PROVOKATION

And why you do that Frank?
Could be a chance for a new way Sirs.

No Christopher!
A group of many persons, should not ignore such things.
Or the group is very weak and give up.

A group is building (Open Letters programmers).
And now this building group should development a good answer. I think we have to await this.

Chess programmers with strong engines should be able to give a good move too.

The situation is an order and not a reason to hang own heads.
In this case I believe a programmer group need a bit provocation or we are swimming in endless discussions.

Best
Frank

Robbodini will be great on the XBox console & PS3....it could even come in a 3D mode with glasses and you play and analyze with Houdini in a floating chess board half a meter in front of you

:P

That will never happen because they will die. Blood is thicker than water.

It is interesting to observe what happens with lack of oxygen. They will strangle themselves.

Best to ignore, besides that, they are quite funny and let's be honest, everyone likes a good joke.

"I've created a chess program that mimics human play" said the computer science major. "So it plays at GM level then?" asks the advising professor. "No, but it does blame its loss on outside conditions!"

And that says it all.......

:)

Chris
If they're anywhere in the USA, the Democrats will quickly all agree that the entire problem (any problem), should be blamed on Bush! ;)

Will that work with Computer Chess problems?

If you believe, it just might! 8-)

Robbodini on the PS3
It's true.. The PS3's cell processor would be a killer platform for multi-threaded chess engines. Vastly superior to the x86.
