we are still working on spike. If ever we manage to get some more strength there will be more versions. Hope so!

Even if this is might not be completly true anymore I consider Spike as an engine from my "home town" so I am really curious to see it at work :-)

Hi Gerhard,

keep us informed about your tests. We have tons of test games with short time control but not really with long time control and multi cpu usage.

Many, many thanks for this new version. It runs perfectly under Scid Linux GUI.

Just have a look at Ingos IPON-Tests and our CEGT-Tests from now on.

A very impressive release! :shock: Obviously Spike 1.4 was coded by Chuck Norris!

I can also confirm that with Ubuntu 10.10 and SCID 4.2.2 that Spike 1.4 runs very well.

Wrong! Chuck Norris already solved chess (of course), so he dont has to code such a lousy engine ;)
