ChessGUI 0.184 is out there.

ChessGUI 0.184 is out there.

- fixes a recently introduced bug in Chess960 Swiss tournaments.
- "Alternate Colours" in Swiss tournaments will now play double rounds in each cycle, alternating colours.

Matthias.

Thanks Matthias.
One question - I had noticed with some recent versions that if I set tablebases to Nalimov rather than Gaviota, it would default back to the Gaviota option if I had to restart the GUI in the middle of a tournament. Should it not have saved the settings that I chose?

Cheers,
Graham.

It should stay at latest choice, if chosen through tournament setup window.
If chosen through main screen, it is a global default setting for future tournaments, with no effect on any current tournament.

I will check and eventually fix.

Matthias.

Matthias.
I found a bug in this new type of Swiss tournament.
Will fix it soon. Ordinary one-round Swiss tournaments are not affected.

ChessGUI 0.185 is out there.

Post by Matthias Gemuh »

ChessGUI 0.185 is out there.

- more flexible time controls
- Swiss tournament bugfix

Caution: to finish a tournament started with an older ChessGUI, revisit the tournament timecontrol window first.

@Graham: no Nalimov/Gaviota issues found.
