I will tell you if I succed, trying to forgive you..

just joking :) your site looks nice.

I just went there and you plan to play more games with 1.72 but they are 99.9% the same. I would just replace the executables, there is only one thingy in the endgame which changed, the rest was the bug-fix for FRC.

BTW I would have wished a more notorious difference between 1.62 and 1.71 there.. i was hoping >2500 :) well.. maybe still few games.. or maybe it isn't really much stronger in longer games.. so maybe next time. If I suceed in another 50 elo jump in my testing conditions it would be strange not to see a bigger improvement in other rating list as well.

Lars H. hasn't tested 1.72 in longer time control but a version which is inferior to 1.72 managed 27 elo more than amyan 1.62 in his preliminary-testing-lightning rating list:

31 Amyan 1.7a : 2618 25 24 1092 80.5 % 2372 7.7 %
39 Amyan 1.62 : 2591 24 23 1098 77.9 % 2372 7.5 %
44 Amyan 1.61 : 2582 23 23 1092 77.1 % 2372 8.7
