Chesley 1.1.2 released

Post by gingell »

This new version is much stronger and much more stable than version 1.0. The source package is available at: https://sourceforge.net/projects/chesley/

I've so far only made available a binary for Mac OS, however Windows and any POSIX-like target is supported and will work out of the box. I will be mirroring any third party builds with come along at that site.

I want to especially thank Kenny Dail and Ron Murawski for their help and feedback. I'm also very grateful to Jim Ablett for his excellent Windows builds.

For more information about Chesley, I maintain a blog at https://sourceforge.net/apps/wordpress/chesley/

Thanks everyone,
Matt

That's really odd... http://chesley.sourceforge.net seems to work for me. The above URL just forwards to that, so I don't understand why there's a difference.

Thanks.
Just to confirm, I get a dialog box asking for a username/password when going to this link.

OK - thanks for confirming that second URL works for you.

It doesn't look like I'm able to edit the original, unfortunately:
You are not allowed to edit your post. You have to edit your post within 15 minutes, after you posted your message.
Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks Jim. I don't have access to the Intel compiler or a 64-bit Windows environment, so this is very helpful to me. Do you have any objection to my making your build available for download at the SourceForge site?

Hi Matthew,

Glad to be of help to you :)
You're welcome to use the compiles as you wish, no need
to ask.

I tried the win 32 build under Arena 2.0.1, can't get it to work reliably.

What gui do you recommend for windows? How do you set the hash? Is there a book?
