In this case I might join. I'm not sure yet as it is (as usual) a busy weekend for me.hgm wrote:Oops!

hgm wrote:Last time we had 5 min + 1 sec/move, which amounts to 6 min/game on average. I think everything under 10 min/game is considered blitz. Under 2 min/game (e.g. 1+1) is called bullet.
I had not decided yet, but doing the same as last time (5+1) seems to make sense. If there are few participants, we could do 9+1, and only 5 rounds.
under 5 rounds is not enough to find the blitz king, i prefer for min. 7 rounds
in this case i will playing too.
but i will do on next day by my self playing a rapidchess tourney, next weekend at 15th i am playing for my team, next weekend at 21th/22th will playing on CCT 11, every weekend is action this month.
and i am very busy with the improvements of Tornado (8x8 chess) at the moment.
best wishes,
Engin

I expect to be there, but my weekends are always very unpredictable, and I won't know for sure until the last minute whether I'll be able to make it.hgm wrote:It is my intention to have another blitz tourney, just like the one last month, on my ICS, at

OK, I have brought up the server for the tourney. The IP address still is:
80.100.28.169
Joker and micro-Max are already on line, and can be used for testing. Report any problems in logging in here, I will keep an eye on this thread.

Unfortunately I got myself a violin today, and will be busy playing violin rather than computer chess tonight.Tord Romstad wrote:I expect to be there, but my weekends are always very unpredictable, and I won't know for sure until the last minute whether I'll be able to make it.hgm wrote:It is my intention to have another blitz tourney, just like the one last month, on my ICS, at

And by the way, in case somebody wonders: No, I didn't have a violin before. What you see in my picture is not a violin, but a viola.
Have fun, everyone! I hope to join you in the April tournament.

Re: Second on-line blitz tourney
I would like to operate TwistedLogic, I haven't spoken with Edsel about this, but I am sure he is willing to let me operate.
I am the operator for CCT and would like to test my book out with TL.
