More on the Novag Citrine

Here's another long game (40 moves / 2.5 hours) from Citrine autoplay:

Code: Select all

White resigned on move 77.

I'm still working on getting the Citrine to talk directly to Lisp. Once this is done, it will be fairly simple to connect the Citrine to xboard.

Does anyone have a program that will read in a game and produce estimated ratings for the players?

interesting...

is it posible do a game without books ?

example, in the initial position, go to setup, and move the white king... after go out setup... and citrine PLAY initial position similar a problem position, and it don´t use the book...

40/9000. of course...

bye. oliver

PD: then you select "autoplay" and in the first move... we can not see the "clock" time, but internal is correct, and after some seconds... or minutes move... and after that, move black... ... ...

Every time the initial array is physically set on the board, the unit sets itself up for a new game. So I'm not sure that a "no-book" game is possible.

The clock values are sent on the serial link only in response to individual requests. There is no way to have it be recorded automatically.

OK. excuse me. it is posible play a game with out book, I play two games in other post theme... but I say you if you like do a long test in that long time game...

when you go to setup, and go out, after move (up-down... some times the white king, to select a white move position when you go out setup ), the computer "don´t" initial a new game... if you are very carefull... you can not move the black king (up-down) for citrine start the game, because then, "citrine" reset with a new game... you must use the option autoplay... and remeber that previus, the first thing, previus insert in setup, select the level correct... when you select "AUTOplay"... with setup option, citrine star to think, but don´t reset the game, becasuse you are in setup option..., and I´m sure that start exits a lot of posiblities that citrine start with a move "d3"...

in levels: C3 (5min/game), C5 (30 mint/game) and A7 (40 mov/2 h.).. citrine plays (out-book) with white:

After several tries, I'm having too much difficulty in getting the Citrine to play without a book. I'll leave this issue as it is for now.

Another 40/9000 autoplay. However, there were two differences this time:

1) The "random" parameter (0..3) was set at 3, the highest value.

2) Unlike every other 40/9000 game that ended in checkmate, there was no resignation. Perhaps this is somehow connected to #1.
