When has Fritz participated in any Tournament?
Re: 2008 World Computer Chess Championship
Falcon is back too. I'm really curious to see by how much it improved since 2004. Some Falcon's games here (the one against Shredder is kind of spectacular): http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessplayer?pid=29489

I think Mobile chess is the favorite... to be the last place
Any bets?

Fritz will only compete if it knows it can win. With Rybka around, it will be a long long long long long long long long long long long long while before it will join a tournament
Re: 2008 World Computer Chess Championship
I think Fritz find it more shameful if it did not win than to participate

I think you are wrong ... I think it will take even longer than that.

If you are talking about the engine from Omid David, then it has been playing in WBEC for a while with the name Maestro..Marc MP wrote:Falcon is back too.
