Need enlargement? :-) The Balanced-16.ctg

Post by Mike S. »

I have created a bigger version of the Balanced-12.ctg opening book for the Fritz interface, from the same database, the Balanced-16.ctg with max. 32 plies book depth:

http://rapidshare.com/files/114174908/B ... TG.7z.html

(~3.8 MB, requires http://7-zip.org/ to decompress)

It is a test book still, best suitable for 'same book for all' tests, not a performance book. Recommended book options remain the same, 'normal' and 'minimum games = 3'.

I had this idea because the 12 moves version performes surprisingly good with Rybka in Sedat Canbaz' book test tournament; see
http://www.sedatchess.com/scct_opening_book.html
Of course I hope that the 16 moves version can perform even better.
