Hi,
I released Scid Pocket 0.39 at http://prolinux.free.fr/scid/PPC.html
More engines have been ported (Scorpio and Greko for example), playing on freechess.org (FICS) and Novag Citrine board are now supported.
I managed to play games with the Citrine on FICS, but as this board is not the most reliable, I would not play rated / fast games with it

Quick question. Can the graphic board be saved to the clipboard as a .jpg?

Re: New version of Scid Pocket
Hello,
Winboard has the ability to configure the connection port to FICS.
Normal port is 5000
If there are problems with firewall the alternative port is 23
This feature could be interesant in pocket scid, athought not sure if possible.

Re: New version of Scid Pocket
To connect on port 23 is feasible, but I wonder in what situation this should be of any use : if people are behind a firewall, there should be a reason for it ?Rafael Vasquez wrote:Hello,

As a temporary work around you can look for the line
set port 5000
and change it to
set port 23
in file core.tcl
