Warning: X1.0 Program Going Commercial

Post by fern »

I decided to do so in order to defend my rights. So I will go commercial as soon as I write X1.0. No freeware will be available, ever.

Maybe the fully matured product will take some time to strike the shells as much as I scarcely remember some Basic programation and my best try was:

10 print "Fernando"
20 goto 10

Be patient. In the mean time you can pay and advance fee in order to be put in the list.
This will give you the right for one full year of upgrades.

Thank you very much

Which form of payment do you prefer- Paypal, Credit Card, or Cash. I rather prefer Cash. It seems so final. Hopefully after i send the money i can expect to have the program within a year.

Patience is a virtue regards,

Fernando, I wonder if your engine has the essentials to succeed in today's computer chess scene:

Its own forum
A highly publicised match against a GM (which needn't actually happen)
An integrated mp3 player
A funny-sounding East European name
Accusations of cheating against it
128-bit support
The ability to run at full strength on a Casio watch
No understanding of FRC castling
Its own GUI with as many random coloured squares and arrows as possible
A higher price for the single processor versions (because they are now a minority, specialist interest)
No knowledge, and no use, for underpromotion
The voice of Alekhine, from beyond the grave, passing comments on the moves
A printed instruction manual (a stick-it note will do)
On the retail box, a picture of Kasparov being beaten over the head with a chessboard
On opening the box, the distinct smell of a dead fish

Well, that's also similar to the way I started.
My first program was
10 GOTO 10

and then something similar to the above as my second one.

Finally I have a list of things of requirements I can work towards with my engine!

Truly funny. Thanks.

Nicolai, if your engine can do all that- you can name your price! Money wont be a consideration.

I think that your price is too high.
I sell Y1.0 for 0.000000001 dollars so people have no reason to buy X1.0 and not to buy Y1.0.

I also promise delivery before 1.1.3000 and not only tell my customers one of the next years without dead line.
