Hi,
I released a pre-alpha release of the port of Scid to Pocket PC (ARM processors only). You can get it at
http://prolinux.free.fr/scid/PPC.html
along with instructions to install it (installation is a bit long the first time).
I only have a VGA Pocket PC so PDA with a screen resolution of 320x240 should work, but I never tested it myself.
Note that all Scid code of backoffice (C/C++, no UI) has been ported, so the question now is to determine which functionnalities should be made available on a Pocket PC.

it works in my IPAQ 1740 with Windows Mobile 2003. (Toga make 11.000 nps)
You have had to make many changes in TOGA to be able to compile it?
You have new plans to add engines?
Surely you would have to provide the source code not to have problems with the license.
Best,
Pedro

Yes, I made changes to Toga because there is no stdin / stdout on WinCE.
Sources are available on my site, but compilation may be tricky.
Currently I plan to port Phalanx, but I'll prefer to concentrate on the UI first.

Re: Scid for Pocket PC - alpha release available
I just released a new alpha version (0.0.4) with a faster and working PGN window.
It seems Toga runs faster and faster (between 20 to 30.000 nps!) on my Axim x51v.

you are making a great work for SCID, as much for PC as Pocket PC. Thanks.

Well done! Pocket PC needs a decent chess database program - there's the possibility of carrying around a reference database without a laptop. I look forward to trying it out!
