piece sac at move 8 by Leela
Hi,
I bumped into this game of Leela's last night analyzed by IM Rensch.
I thought I'd give the position after:
1. e2e4 e7e5 2. g1f3 b8c6 3. f1b5 f8c5 4. c2c4 c5b6 5. d2d4 e5d4
6. c3d4 c6e7 7. e1g1 c7c6
to Leela v0.23.0 with network file weights_run1_61345.pb.gz
Much to my pleasure, after setting the program to infinite, within
a minute, on a non-GPU Apple Mac, it switched to playing 8. d5
and stuck with the move.
IM Rensch analyzes things and it makes for an interesting commentary.
I'd be interested in what other engines see and play 8. d5.
Thanks ahead.
Stuart
