xBoard config file

Does anyone know where the xBoard config file is located. It's been moved around and renamed on different versions. I'm on xBoard 9.1.

Assuming you mean 4.9.1 (and on linux): Mine is located in my home folder in:

.xboardrc

This is on an ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS machine with the xboard package installed, so I assume this is the default.

Thanks for the response, but it was not there. BUT your response helped very much, I went back and looked and found it here in the home folder:
