Embla will participate.
With a version that is 8 elo stronger! woohoo!

It is now possible to monitor the game at http://keetweej.vanheusden.com:8000/. Last tournament this caused crashes but these have been resolved hopefully.
Note that nothing happens while it is in the book (of course).

Prophet can play. I haven't done one of these yet so I'll need some creds. I can test connectivity later today.

I want to play with scorpio MCTS. I started xboard with.

Code: Select all

xboard -ics -icshost winboard.nl -icshelper timeseal -fcp "/home/daniel/Scorpio/scorpio montecarlo 1" -fd "/home/daniel/Scorpio" -autoKibitz
but it doesn't log me into the server. It didn't ask me for a username/password -- which I forgot btw. Is the server up now ?

Yes, server is up, and I am logged in. Depending on the XBoard version you might have to open the ICS Console window; this is where the ICS commuicatio will appear.

Also, to play with engine you should ot forget the -zp ('zippy') argument. I am not sure whether XBoard would include the zippy code by default. If not, you would have to recompile after "./configure --enable-zippy".

I added a port number to it 5000 to winboard.nl and I seem to be logged in now.
This i figured because i can "telnet winboard.nl 5000" but not without the port number.
Do you see me there now?

I need to be registered. My "shouts" are not heard, nor am I able to join the tourney.
