help with searching posts

help with searching posts

When i try to search the forum for a particular phrase (eg principle variation) I get lots of posts that have no relevance to this.
What am i doing wrong ?

You used 'search for all terms'? I only get 4 pages with your search.

If I add search messages and Programmers Forum only and display posts I get 83 results.

It might your searching ability if you learn how to spell "principal". :)

An alternative is to look at the term in the chess programming wiki. They have a lot of good historical talkchess links on many topics.
