I just downloaded chessbase reader to my brand new laptop and it just does not work for multiple reasons. The same problem stays with chessbase 11 and 13. I can't create a new uci engine. It just freezes and I have to escape with task manager. I also can't close the existing fritz engine when I put it running. Opening reference fails too. It is curious though that chessbase 11 says: "must contain author..." when trying to add a new engine.
Help would be very appreciated.
