Perft(14) Weekly Status Reports for 2016

In 2015, the approximate number of perft(7) results increased from 4,800,000 to 28,900,000. With 96,400,068 results needed, the percentage coverage went from about 4.98% to 29.98%, about one quarter of the total needed.

The average daily perft(7) result rate since the start of the project is about 56,890. With additional hardware and some minor improvements to the algorithms, the rate for the past few months has been about 100,000 results per day. The peak weekly result count was one million.

If a 100,000 daily result rate can be sustained, then the project should complete sometime in October 2017.
