Is there any 10x8 engine competition being planned next year?

Best regards, Reinhard.

I just noticed on Open-Chess forum that you had a new SMIRF!

I have not decided about a new competition yet. I don't plan that far ahead. I also don't know if other people improved their engine. Perhaps I should work on mine...

Tried the server just now, seems to be massively laggy and unresponsive. Might be worth checking.

My amnesia is a surprising thing ...
Capivara not participated in this tournament simply because I forgot to turn on the my computer today, and ...

I need a vacation, urgently ...

Well, current private version SMIRF MS-179d today should be able to compete much better in 10x8 chess variants. I purged some obvious bad details, nevertheless it still remains based on its initial ad hoc approach. I have no idea, whether there still are active 10x8 chess program developers.

Good to see you back, Reinhard!

I'm still active, too, but not all that close to having something competitive...

Depends on what you call active.

I haven't had a great deal of time to work on Sjaak recently, but it's certainly not abandoned...
