I have actually not tried it in Winboard but it seems to work when I tried it from the command line. I am not sure about some of the rules so that may be a problem. Alien games I have should not crash because all share the same debugged code since games are specified externally. Anyway I will look into it and post back. The winboard looks great btw.

I tried Los Alamos in Nebiyu in Linux under wine, and it crashes after a few moves, and sometimes even on the first (when I make erroneous clicks?).

This could very well be a wine problem, though. I will check if I get similar behavior when I am done debugging XBoard under Linux.

In common engines dialog box, I put 4 cores but the engine does not seem to reflect this in tasks manager.

That is because the version you use was not compiled for multi-processor.

I do not know how to export a theme, so if you are interrested, here is my winboard.ini file (%APPDATA%\winboard47.ini). Assuming WinBoard is installed here C:\WinBoard-4.7.2\

winboard47.ini (15.11KB)

I am using Winboard 4.7.2 (H.G Muller released) and Nebiyu 1.45 from your website. (https://sites.google.com/site/dshawul/N ... ects=0&d=1 (New May 15 , 2013))

I guess it is just the bigger board size that caught my attention but I am sure I have better themes than that with classic wooden board etc. Thanks anyway...

Thank you :)

I forgot one thing, I do not see the option "Ponder On/Off"

Regarding the log file, it may be necessary that I first create the "log " folder
Edit: I just try and it seems to be there.
