My test for Seer 1.2.1_x64_skylake

Test conditions:
-TC=4'+2"
-Hash=256 MB
-GUI: Fritz 17 x64
-Books: Fritz17.ctg for both engines
-default settings for both engines
-1 thread-CPU=Intel i5-7400-3GHz (Kaby Lake)
-OS: Windows 10 Home
-TBS: 6-men Syzygy bases linked to Fritz17 GUI.

Deep Sjeng c't 2010 has 2926 Elo points (CCRL Blitz).
Expected rating for Seer 1.2.1_x64_skylake is around 3004 Elo points (CCRL Blitz). +145 Elo points face to Seer 1.1_x64_skylake.
Seer 1.1 x64 has 2859 Elo points (CCRL Blitz).

That's fantastic news. It would seem I succeeded in finally surpassing Deep Sjeng. Some other testers are reporting somewhat higher elo for 1.2.1 so it's possible Deep Sjeng might just be a tough nut to crack for Seer :D . As always, thanks for testing! The next release will hopefully be substantially faster.

2.-Deep Sjeng c't 2010 is my favourite engine on 32-bit. Very balanced.

Next week I'll post here my test (in the same conditions) for the buggy Seer 1.2 version. I don't know why..... but seems stronger.

Hmm. I would blame it on small sample size :D If you add the results from this match to your 1.2 match, you'll probably end up with even better estimate of 1.2.1's strength as the only change with 1.2.1 is the ability to find the shortest path to mate. The circumstances under which 1.2 wouldn't mate the opponent were rare anyways. In testing, the improvement gained only ~5 elo over thousands of games.
