Thanks, Drew. I wonder why your output is a lot different from Louis's. (The eval movement and fail high, etc.)

Here's Zenmastur's method for notation conversion. I have not tried it yet.
Zenmastur wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2020 9:36 pm I took a PGN header with a FEN line like this one:

Code: Select all

[Event "?"]
[Site "?"]
[Date "????.??.??"]
[Round "?"]
[White "?"]
[Black "?"]
[Result "*"]
[FEN "5B2/1n6/1k6/3K4/B7/8/8/8 w - - 0 1"]
Then I appended the moves "as is" from Zullil's post and saved it as a pgn file. I then loaded it into a chess program. Easy peasy! :D :D :D

I don't doubt Rxe2+ is the best here, but 45...Qe6 has been the plan all along, and it just made it to the -4.10s (Rxe2 still below -4.00s). Perhaps Rxe2 gets faster to a 7men TB position, but that's outside my horizon, so 45...Qe6 would be the "most efficient win" (to minimize the time I take per move, instead of moves to mate) for me.

Unless these are my famous last words

So much for your so-called immortal knight. Having migrated from e6 to e1 it's now become a cowardly knight, scared of overly efficient mating lines.

Another thing mmt can do is never move again, it seems that'd be the easiest way to never lose!

Wow! I don't think I'll be regretting my decision, though declining the 45th move conditional still made me nervous...
